Tracy K. Giles, O.D., is a licensed optometrist specializing in comprehensive adult and pediatric eye care. He has practiced optometry in Portland since 1987.

Dr. Giles completed his undergraduate degree in zoological and biological studies at the University of Maine at Orono and thereafter obtained his doctorate degree from the New England College of Optometry in 1982. Upon graduation, he practiced for the next three years at the Charleston Naval Hospital in a large, multi-specialty clinic.

Dr. Giles returned to Maine in 1985 and for the next two years practiced in a small mid-coast group practice. Relocating to the Portland area after being invited to join the formerly named Eye Care and Surgery Center of Maine, he opened his own private practice of optometry two years later. In 2006, Dr. Giles moved to his present location at 1039 Washington Avenue and opened Giles Eye Care.

He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Maine Optometric Association and is certified by both the National Board of Optometry and the Maine Board of Optometry. He has served in the military for more than 20 years and currently serves as a Leutenant Colonel in the Maine Air National Guard. His interests include health and fitness, fly fishing, foreign culture and wilderness excursions. Dr. Giles is a native of Caribou, Maine.
